As part of the worldwide SCHÜTZ production and service network, SCHÜTZ ELSA offers standardized, UN approved packaging systems as well as our collection and reconditioning service for emptied IBCs.

With the acquisition of 100 per cent of the shares of Envases y Laminados, S. A. de C. V. (ELSA) by the global leader in packaging systems in 2018, SCHÜTZ ELSA become integral part of the SCHÜTZ Group.

Envases y Laminados S.A. de C.V. (ELSA) was founded in 1960. Since 1997, ELSA has cooperated with SCHÜTZ under license agreements for the production and sale of IBCs and plastic drums. In 1996 the company obtained ISO 9001: 1994 certification as the first Mexican manufacturer of industrial containers. In 2012, the company received FSSC 22000 certification for the production of polyethylene drums and IBCs.
