With the foundation of SCHÜTZ Italia in 1998, SCHÜTZ underlined its dedication to the Italien market. Production of IBC started in 2000 at Castenedolo plant. Corollary to the growing local demand for SCHÜTZ products, SCHÜTZ Italia moved in April 2006 to a bigger, new constructed plant at Dello (Brescia) that covers a total area of 30,000 square metres.
Today, SCHÜTZ Italia employs more than 70 people, active in the fields of production, selling and collection of SCHÜTZ containers.
SCHÜTZ (Italia) S.r.l. adopts an Organizational and Management Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 and entrusts the task of supervising its functioning and compliance, of providing for its updating as well as the verification of its effectiveness, to a Supervisory Body (SB) board, endowed with autonomous powers of initiative and control.

In implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/1937, Legislative Decree No. 24 of 10 March 2023 on "the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law and laying down provisions on the protection of persons who report breaches of national laws" was issued.
